This year at EdCamp Boston (April 28, 2012) I am planning a session called "Ask a Student" in which teachers will have the opportunity to learn from a panel of students. The panel will be filled by students from various schools—students who take learning into their own hands and who thrive on self-directed education.
Teachers who attend the session will have a chance to learn from students. The AskAStudent student panel will field questions from the attendees (and they will also field questions via Twitter at the #askastudent hashtag ).
Students will discuss and answer questions from attendees regarding what works for them in the classroom (and what doesn't), what tools and strategies they like (and don't like), and they will offer insights to help teachers be better teachers—and learners!
If you are in the session or following from Twitter, please feel free to contribute collaboratively to this Google Doc: http://ounce.it/aasgdoc
